Why Does 3oz of Masala Chai Blend Cost $25?

That is a great question! And we’d love to tell you why.

It’s Personal. I started CHAI.COM to share authentic masala chai my family has enjoyed for generations.  We are proud to share that tradition and will never compromise the ingredients we use.  This is the chai we drink every day in our home, and we will only offer you what we serve at our own kitchen table.

What is a Chaiwallah or Chaiwalli?

“Garam Chai! Garam Chai!”

If you’ve ever stepped onto the streets of India, you’ve heard this ubiquitous chant from the local Chaiwallah, serving up fresh, hot chai that he’s been brewing all day at his street kiosk.  “Chai” is “spiced black tea with milk” and “Wallah” means “seller or maker”, so a Chaiwallah is just that, a maker and seller of masala Chai.  And a Chaiwalli is a female chai maker/seller.

Experts have lots of great ideas on how we can reset and charge ahead.  We’ve compiled a few ideas here to kick start your spring cleanse.
