Mended tea towels are made by survivor artisans, trained on the centuries-old textile printing technique of hand block printing. A hand carved wooden block is dipped into dye and then lined up to print across an entire textile.

For every textile printed, Mended's survivor artisans are paid an-above-living wage. In 2023 alone, their survivor artisan partners printed 36,796 individual textiles!

This income is allowing for homes to be built, children to be educated, food to be constant and for dignity to be restored.

Our black tea comes from the nutrient-rich hills of Assam in the northeast region of India. Our chai spices are specifically sourced from India, Guatemala, Indonesia, and Vietnam and are all certified organic. They arrive to us in Texas where we hand blend our masala chai mixes in small batches to ensure a consistent and precise flavor profile.  We’ve taken the guesswork out, so you can simply savor each cup of chai!

While the set comes pre-packaged, you can add a personal touch with a note at checkout which will be included in the package. It’s a thoughtful way to send warm chai wishes to a friend or loved one.

Mended tea towels are crafted to be durable and long-lasting. For best results, we recommend washing the towel in cold water and air-drying or using a low heat setting to preserve its quality.
