Our Story

How it Started

Welcome to our family kitchen where the first question guests are warmly greeted with is "Chai Banaavo?" or "Shall I make some chai?" It's not a question really, because like a warm hug or handshake, it's hard to say no to a warm cup of chai. Since 1997, we at Chai.com have been serving our heirloom family recipe from Gujarat, India to families around the world seeking a true chai experience.

How it's Going

Today we are excited to offer a line of masala chai’s using potent, organic botanicals and antioxidant-rich brewed and dried black Assam tea that simply dissolves in liquid and makes the process effortless, mess-free and stress-free. Thank you for bringing us into your home, and yes, "Chai Banaavo!”

Sustainable Statement

We're doing our best to honor Mother Earth and have committed to sourcing organic spices, tea directly from India, and mindfully packaging our products. Our beautiful tins are reusable. The cellophane pouch is USDA and FDA approved for edible items and is made from cellulose, a material that is derived from a sustainable forest, not plastic, and is 100% recyclable and compostable. The little spoon is made of sustainable bamboo and is reusable. Our boxes and filler are all recyclable. We'll keep working to do our part.
