Every guest who steps into our home is welcomed with a warm smile and a simple question: "Chai Banaavo?" or "Shall I make some chai?" In our family, chai has always been more than just a drink. It’s how we say, "You’re family."
Chai.com started from memories of my grandmother’s sunlit kitchen in Gujarat, where hand-ground spices and slow-simmered chai carried the warmth of love and tradition. For us, chai was never about caffeine. It was about connection. The hum of the stove, the clink of teacups, and the small, beautiful moments we shared.
When I moved to the U.S. in 1997, I missed that ritual deeply. The versions of chai I found here felt soulless, missing the heart and tradition I grew up with. So I went back to my roots, hand-roasting spices and blending by memory, just like I had seen in my grandmother’s kitchen. That journey led me to start Chai.com, from my own kitchen, hoping to share the same comfort and authenticity with others.
Today, we offer organic botanical blends and antioxidant-rich Assam tea that dissolve effortlessly, making it easy to bring a little bit of that warmth into your everyday life. Every cup is made with love, tradition, and care because every cup holds a story. A memory. A homecoming.
